About NHS services Emergency and urgent care services

outofhoursIf you are unwell in the evening, overnight or at a weekend: contact NHS 111. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles (although pay-as-you-go mobiles must have at least 1p credit). This service is for urgent medical situations-if you or a member of your family become ill and you are concerned. It is not for routine enquires.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
