The majority of colds and flu like illnesses will be over in a few days and your pharmacist can help you manage the symptoms and give you practical advice.

There are over 150 pharmacies in Dorset. Many are open evenings and weekends. Pharmacies offer a wide range of services; many also have private consultation rooms if you would like to speak in confidence.

There are minor injury units locally, Blandford 01258 394078, Shaftesbury 01747 851535 . They can treat non life threatening injuries such as lacerations, sprains, soft tissue injuries and simple fractures. Give them a call before you attend to check on opening times.

SystmOnline is available to patients as an app for iPhones, iPads and other Apple devices running the iOS operating system. The app is listed on the App Store and is free to download. To download the app, search for "SystmOnline" in the app store. For android device users this app can be found on Google Play.

Patients can use their existing SystmOnline login details to access the online services offered by your organisation via the app. "
