Clinics & Services
In addition to the large number of appointments available with the Doctors, the practice operates a range of specialised clinics.
Linda Shephard - Diabetic Nurse Specialist
If you have diabetes, you should come to the clinic at least twice a year. It helps if you can arrange to have a blood test about 2 weeks before. At the clinic your urine and blood pressure will be checked and your diabetes care reviewed. Linda is available at other times to discuss control and monitoring of your diabetes.
If you have Asthma you should have a check-up at least once a year. Please make an appointment with Marrianne.
If you have COPD you should have a check-up at least once a year. Please make an appointment with Marrianne
For your HRT requirements and checks please make an appointment with Buffy.

All methods of contraception are available and the Family Planning Nurse can do routine contraceptive pill check-ups and coil checks following fitting.
Sometimes couples risk pregnancy by not taking adequate precautions. Emergency contraception is effective for up to 72 hours after the event, but you should seek advice as soon as possible.
